Halfway down the Florida Keys rests the quiet unassuming community of Layton. Here on Long Key a unique relationship has formed between a Midwestern college and the town. This is the story of how Goshen College, a small liberal arts school in Indiana, developed a marine biology program and how that program ended up finding a permanent home in Layton, FL.
