Who we are

FiveCore Media is a unique educational program in Goshen College’s award winning Communication Department. Our experienced professors and staff mentor and direct student leaders. FiveCore is able to provide students with an opportunity to apply what they are learning to real world projects for clients. We see it as a win-win for our clients and students. The clients get high production value and flexibility while our students build their skills. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR and local privacy statutes), we act as the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Upon approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images uploaded to the site.

Contact forms

When you submit an inquiry through a contact form on our website, we collect the personal details you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, and message text). This information is collected on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in responding to customer inquiries and providing customer support.
